Over the years, concrete absorbs moisture resulting in corrosion in the reinforcement. To protect these irons from corrosion, concrete reinforcement with repair mortar (epoxy slurry) should be covered. For best results, the calamine must first be removed from the iron to provide immediate contact of the epoxide with the iron. Sandblasting has the potential to remove calamine and rust with minimal effect on the substrate. With this preparation, the durability of the iron is increased, and therefore the overall life of the construction. We also offer solutions for wooden constructions in beams, floors, rabot where it is necessary for protective restoration or restoration – reconstruction for aesthetic or structural reasons, respectively.
